Agawa Canyon Tour Train

The fall color tour is their most famous excursion. This one-day wilderness excursion will take you 114 miles north of Sault Ste. Marie, over towering trestles, alongside pristine northern lakes and rivers, and through the awesome granite rock formations and mixed forests of the Canadian Shield.

They also operate a snow train out of Sault Ste. Marie. As the train winds its way northward, a rugged winter wonderland will unfold before you. Snow laden trees will give way to panoramic views, towering trestles, snow-choked rock cuts, frozen lakes and waterfalls transformed into fantastic ice sculptures by the cold breath of winter.

Algoma also operates regular passenger service between Sault Ste. Marie and their northern terminus, 296 miles north at Hearst, Ontario.
