Tourist Trains and Railroads

Welcome to TouristTrains.us

I've been fascinated by trains since I was a child sitting up on the hill of Dent, Minnesota watching various trains go by a block away. I loved walking the railroad ties, watching the tracks disappear into the distance.

Having grown up, I now enjoy riding trains, especially where the geography is wild, watery, mountainous, and varied. In compiling another hobby site, Hot Times, Cool Places, I ran across many wonderful tourist trains that travel among sites well worth seeing. In this little website, I plan to feature as many of these tourist trains as I can.

In addition, I'm planning to feature incline railroads, mini trains, aerial trams, and railroad museums. Enjoy!
